Hours: Circa 20 hours/2.5 days per week (including Sundays)

What if you could spend the next year helping children discover just how deeply they are loved by Jesus... while discovering more of God's calling on your own life?
We're looking for someone to join our leadership team for a unique ministry year at the heart of a growing church with a vibrant children's ministry!
You'll spend your days helping children encounter Jesus, discover the joy of following him, explore the Bible, ask big questions, and build friendships and a faith that will last a lifetime!
As you invest in the lives of children, we'll invest in yours - helping you deepen your walk with Jesus, develop your leadership gifts, and discover more of where God might be calling you next.
You'll begin by learning alongside our Children and Families Pastor, before gradually taking the lead of areas yourself. As your confidence and experience grow, you'll be empowered with increasing responsibility, supported every step of the way. Along the journey, you'll experience every part of children's ministry, from inspiring children on a Sunday morning to supporting families, partnering with local schools, developing volunteers, growing leaders, and helping pioneer exciting new opportunities to share Jesus with our estate.
We'll mentor you, pray with you, train you, and champion you as you grow. You'll have a seat around the table with our staff team, experience what it's really like to lead a local church, help shape ministry behind the scenes, and have the freedom to develop your own gifts, ideas, and passions.
Whether you're exploring a future in children's ministry, sensing God may be calling you into church leadership or ordained ministry, taking a gap year, or simply would love to dedicate a season of your life to serving Jesus, we'd love to hear from you.
