Our services

at St. Francis & online

Every week we have people who are new to being in church, so if you are unsure what happens, you will not be the only one.

Services last about an hour with songs, prayers, bible readings, and a talk, kids go out about 15 minutes into the 1030 service.

The 9am is quieter, more formal and has communion (bread and wine) every week.
The 1030am is more relaxed and noisier, with communion once a month !

Different people worship in different ways, so please feel free to try out both services to see which one suits you better.

We’ve got a variety of church services at St. Francis

Some of them don’t even require stepping inside a building ! You can come to church or check us out online on a Sunday, depending on which services works best for you.

+ Traditional Service | Sunday mornings | 9:00am

A quiet traditional communion service (with bread and wine) using Church of England liturgy (wording) to worship God. The minister will be robed and there will be a couple of traditional hymns, prayers, bible reading and a sermon.

There is no dress code and if you find a more traditional service style more helpful we'd love you to join us.

+ Modern SERVICE | Sundays | 10:30-11:30am

In person service including a game, prayers, bible reading, songs, a talk. It's very relaxed with lots of children there - we would rather the noise and life of the nursery than the orderliness and quietness of a graveyard !

There is no dress code and there are many people who come who are very new to being in church - you will not be the only person new to this stuff !

+ Connect Groups

We have midweek small groups called Connect Groups. These are a great way to help you belong at St Francis, to really get to know people and also to grow in your faith. They meet in local homes or in the church building.

We’re gathering online each Sunday at 4PM!

We pray you would experience God’s comfort and peace stronger than any fear you may face in this time. You can watch live or catch up on a previous service through our Facebook page.
